** Saturday, September 19th: The Professional Tote from The Creative Thimble has all the pockets and compartments needed for today's professional women. This tote has it all--pockets to hold a water bottle, umbrella, magazine, telephone, passport, boarding pass, optional strap to place over rolling luggage, inside zippered pockets for laptop, business cards....Also great for a sewing tote. 9-3pm with Luci Maakestad. $22.00 plus supplies

** Beginner's Class HOT SHOT! Tuesday October 6th and 13th! Beth Weisbecker will walk you thru the basic of notions, tools, tips, color choices, fabric, cutting and more. We will be making a quilt called Hot Shot where small squares become "hot shots" when they float on top of the blocks. Fun for fat quarters or fat eighths. Stop in for a supply list and chose your fabric before the first class on Tuesday, Oct. 6th. Second class will be held on October 13th. 6-9pm $22.00 plus supplies.

**Saturday October 17th: English Paper Piecing Bring a Buddy Class. This is a great project for you and one of your quilting buddies to take together. We will be using a Moda Bakeshop Petite 4s (2 1/2" squares) to make a Prairie Flower Pincushion. If you bring a buddy you will have even more variety in your project because you can share squares. Beth Bersaw will be teaching this fun class from 9am-noon. $15.00 plus supplies

**Tuesday, October 20th: Wool Pincushion. We are excited about introducing a line of wool to our shop. Sandi Andersen from Pleasant Memories in Henderson will be teaching a pincushion class from a pattern she designed especially for the Firefly! Sandi Andersen is a quilt maker, cookie baker, wife, mother, grandma and more. She says she is "always stitching something-penny rugs, Redwork, crazy quilting, making quilts, pincushions, clay-crafting, miniatures and other projects." Every project she does is inspired by memories of her childhood years, travels, and the paths that life has taken her along. We know you will enjoy spending an evening with her. 6-9pm. FREE pattern for a needle case is included. $22.00 plus supplies

**Saturday, October 24th: Serenity Bargello. This is a gorgeous color wash design that works well with fat quarters. Beth Weisbecker will be teaching this strip pieced beauty. 10am-3pm $22.00 plus supplies

**Monday, November 9th and Monday November 30th: Keyboard Kaleidoscope. Beth Weisbecker is back with another kaleidoscope quilt. They are so fun to make and it is guaranteed that no two quilts will be the same! You will really like this pattern with the striking kaleidoscope center, keyboard border and stars. 6-9pm both nights. $22.00 plus supplies
